It's possible she could be Luda May Hewitt, the woman who adopted Leatherface in the 2003 remake. There is no woman from the first film that could account for this appearance. “Something that was new to me was how to film all the gore - which Fede Alvarez, the producer, really helped me with,” Garcia said. While it wasn’t a horror film, Garcia says “Tejano” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” actually have some interesting thematic similarities.
